SO this is going to be my blog for the next 6 days.
That's right, this blog will only have a life of 6 days. Must utilize it to the max!
Just like my studying days...only 6 days LEFT (the last 2 days are finals).
Since I get really anti-social during finals, (I can't physically see friends, or else I'll just talk to the max)
this is going to be a really nice outlet for me to rant, motivate myself, praise myself, etc.
It's really just to get me through the next 6 days of this....last finals of my final semester for my undergraduate life.
It's pretty a big thing, you know. Last semester...so I can't screw it up!!
The thing is..I never screwed up on any finals or never failed a class before, but I guess I'm just nervous since this is my LAST semester. Must trust myself that as long as I do what I kept doing, I will be fine.
I ALMOST did screw up at the beginning of this week bc on Monday, I got a flu.
But, I took a REAL rest (no studying, no watching youtube, no facebook) for the whole day on Monday and voila. My fever, which was like close to 39.0C (yikes), was down to 36.6C (score!) on the day of the test.
Thank goodness I actually studied for the past 3 days before the flu happened. And since the exam was at 6pm, I studied my butt off for the whole day from when I woke up.
I was definitely in a panic mode. But I went to take the test, and walked out pretty confidently.
Then I had to take another final the very next day at 2pm. (so much better than 9am.)
I went to the library right after my 6-9pm final, and did half of the practice final and decided to go home bc I started to cough a lot. I definitely did NOT want to get sick again.
I came home, it was FREEZING outside (-9C), so took a hot shower to warm myself up and just relaxed a little...and I fell asleep. I guess my body needed it bc during my final on Monday, I felt that my body temperature was warmer... so maybe I had a little fever. Darn.
The next day (yesterday), I woke up at 7:15am and studied (went over lecture slides that I didn't cover yet bc of flu, did another practice final, and made a crib sheet). My stomach was not cooperating at all with me. Kept having to run to the bathroom...I assumed it was the virus. Good job, body. Get rid of themm!! lol
And it got to a point where I was just reviewing the long answers like how to format it, what not to forget, and look at how to write a nice layout so I can get points.
Then it was already 1:30pm. I rushed out from my apartment with my crib sheets and my past final questions and walked to the exam room with CONFIDENCE.
Seriously, when the test is not on pure memorization, it's really up to your "can-do" attitude to tackle those critical thinking questions. Which, I don't hate, but it's hard lol.
The exam was definitely long and difficult. I rushed at the end and I know I screw up 2 questions of short answer). Darn. But it's okay, it's only 2 questions...so like 9 points? But it's out of 100 and I felt pretty confident with other questions (the long answers' wordings were confusing, but they said they'll be lenient on them since a lot of people had problems with them). People are on the discussion board saying they want curves and voicing their opinions. And I agree to most of them. It was definitely a challenging test.
I hope I did well on yesterday's and Tuesday's final!! I put my 120% to it!!
And when I do my best, it usually comes out pretty okay so crossing my fingers!
So, now I have 4 full days (including today) to study for my last two finals.
I GOT THIS. 4 days. If I sleep 7 hours (I need it, or else I can't function)/ day:
24-7=18 hours: I'm AWAKE. lol
18*4 = 72hours that I can study. This is definitely a lot. And of course, I'm not gonna use all 72 hours since I need to take breaks and eat and de-stress a little.
Okay, so it's already 11am in the morning. I tackled on lecture that I needed to catch up on! woot.
And yeah, I plan to do more readings for this class bc I still have 5 chapters to tackle.
Hopefully, I'll finish those 5 chapters by tomorrow (do some today and finish the rest tmr).
I need to devote time for my other final, too. And it's logic.
Seriously, why the heck did I choose logic for my elective.
Anyways, once I start ranting about it, I'll lose motivation so I'll stop for now!
Getting back to studying!
